Welcome Shepherd Rudy Plair!

On February 26, we welcomed our 4th little guy to the outside world! Shepherd Rudy Plair arrived at 6:48pm, weighing 7lbs, 6oz, and measuring 20in long. The delivery went smoothly and Shepherd continues to be a strong, healthy boy who loves to nurse, sleep and exercise other bodily functions well!

We were elated that Shepherd came a few days early allowing Jeff to be here for the birth and also some time before and after to spend with the family. My sister, Talitha, was here in time to watch the other boys and help me out during recovery/adjustments, and my mom made it in time to be at the birth as well (keeping her record of being present for all 16 grandchildren's arrivals!).

Ethan, Levi, and Judah are in love with Shepherd already and very proud to show him off to everyone they encounter. One of Ethan's first concerns when he gets home from school every day is, "Where's Shepherd?".

Jeff has returned to his deployment for several more months, but we are hopeful this time will pass quickly for both of us with all the adjustments at home and all of Jeff's responsibilities as chaplain. Right now, we are just praising God for the many, MANY blessings He's poured on us this past few weeks!

Welcome Home, Shepherd! (and this adoration hasn't decreased!)

Aunt Linda and Uncle Rudy (Shepherd's namesake)
Uncle Rudy has been like a father to Jeff and grandpa to the boys, and we are so happy to be able to honor him in this small way!
